Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athletically inclined child and developed a passion for sprinting at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks after the first time she tried out. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended at the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third in each event she competed in at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
